Léa & Pierre
Château de Montgobert, France
A French affair, down to every detail.
Léa and Pierre’s wedding is easily one of my favourite celebrations from more than 115 weddings photographed so far.
Everything was there. The elegance, the setting, the details, the atmosphere. From Léa’s dress and jewellery to Pierre’s perfectly tailored suit, every choice felt intentional.
They are both very focused and detail-oriented, and you could feel how important this day was to them. Nothing was left to chance. A beautiful religious ceremony, an elegant château, and even a vintage Citroën Traction waiting outside.
For most of the day, they carried that same quiet, serious energy — until the evening came and they finally let go.
Everything was in place. And it was beautiful to photograph.
Dating back to the 18th century, Château de Montgobert is a remarkable French estate surrounded by elegant gardens and centuries of history.
The château was once owned by Pauline Bonaparte, Napoleon I’s sister and the wife of General Leclerc, adding another fascinating chapter to an already remarkable setting.
Its architecture, symmetry and timeless character make it feel like the perfect backdrop for a truly French wedding.
For Léa and Pierre, everything came together here — the château, the gardens, the church nearby and that beautiful vintage Citroën Traction.
A setting that feels almost made for photographs.
