DUBAÏ

United Arab Emirates

Our first trip as three. Dubai wasn’t about chasing adventures or ticking places off a list. It was May 2024, and our daughter was just seven months old. It was our first trip together as a family of three, so we wanted something simple — a few hours of flying, sunshine, good food, a lot of swimming and absolutely no pressure. Most days were pretty much the same: pool, lunch, pool again, then a walk and dinner as the sun went down. And honestly, that’s exactly what we needed. There were a few moments outside that routine — a visit to the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi, a day at the zoo with our daughter — but the real memories are the little ones. My camera was there as always, not for a specific project, but simply to keep a record of those days. Looking back, Dubai feels less like a destination I discovered and more like a pause I got to share with the two people I love most
